Whether you are seeking personal wellness strategies, tools for health and longevity, or practical resources to deepen your professional offerings, this course is designed to provide accessible and effective Ayurvedic tools for everyone. Taran will create an online group for those attending the course as a way to share resources and check-in between sessions.

  • In this session Taran will present an introduction to Ayurveda body treatments and provide key information to participants for the series Intro to Ayurveda Self-Care Practices for Health and Longevity. This orientation includes a presentation on marma therapy, dinacharya, and the seasonal benefits of incorporating these practices into your life. A special focus will be given on addressing specific symptoms for you and your clients. There will be time for Q & A as well as hacks for supplies to make this accessible and affordable for everyone. No prior Ayurveda or yoga experience needed.

  • Vata, the season of late fall/early winter, is a key concept to learn in relation to health and longevity. We will dive into ways to balance this ‘King’ dosha through presentation and hands on application of treatments. The protocols will include Abhyanga self-massage, marma points for the feet, hand massage, Karna Purna (ear oil) and Basti. Participants can immediately implement these into their daily routine to balance Vata any time of the year. Whether you are looking for ways to soothe the nervous system, reduce anxiety, or support clients; this is a must in everyone’s toolkit to support the challenges of modern life and healthy aging. No prior yoga or Ayurveda needed.

  • Spring is a time of cleansing and supporting renewal, both within nature and ourselves. This presentation will focus on reducing Ama and removing built-up toxins in our system. Participants will learn the Ayurveda wisdom of detoxification, and experience hands on application of these sacred practices to support a gentle cleanse. Treatments will include Nasya, Garshana, Tongue Scraping, breath practices, asana and recipes to support spring renewal. Whether reducing allergies, removing environmental toxins, or supporting the natural seasonal change; this presentation is an essential for healthy living in the toxicity of our modern world. No prior yoga or Ayurveda needed.

  • Pitta and the summer season is a time to help reduce inflammation, both within body and mind. In this 2 hour session special focus will be spent on treatments that are soothing for the skin, eyes, head and digestion. These will include Marma head massage, eye treatments, breath practices and asana that soothe Agni (our digestive fire).  With a mixture of presentation and hands on treatments, participants will leave with tools to reduce and help prepare for the summer season. In a time with more light and heat of the summer days, excessive device use, and increase in inflammatory conditions, this is a must to help balance the pitta dosha and support our well-being. No prior yoga or Ayurveda needed.
