Deconstructing the Kleshas
While the pandemic crisis, climate change, and culture wars may feel like new age issues, thousands of years ago Patanjali identified the ‘kleshas’ as the seeds that constrict us and thus sprout such destructive energies. The human tendency to armor and defend our heart when we feel vulnerable is a weathered tome. Yet, yoga encourages us to rewire our reactivity with practice and close examination of the internal workings of the mind. In this series, Robin will lead us through mindful practices to help untether us from the bondage of the kleshas: ignorance, ego, attachment, aversion, and fear. This course is intended to challenge us to be our boldest, brightest, and most courageous self, so we can become the enactors of the change that’s needed in our world today!
