Honoring Winter Solstice

The Winter Solstice marks the return of light. But it takes place in the heart of darkness. Through an integrated yoga practice we’ll honor this pair of opposites and celebrate both the sacred Light and the sacred Dark.

In the midst of the busy holiday season, gift yourself a moment to pause, breathe, and reconnect with your Center. Together we’ll practice slow movement and easeful breath. We’ll listen to the wisdom of ancient yogic scripture and the wisdom of our own hearts. We’ll practice embodied ritual and sit in quiet meditation.

Together we’ll move through this seasonal threshold with awareness and intention. Bring your journal, a candle, and your listening heart.

She has personally experienced the transformative and healing power of regular personal practice and has witnessed it in the lives of her students, which she considers a great gift. A long time student of the ancient yogic scriptures, Summer offers workshops, courses, and retreats focused on sacred study, meditative inquiry, seasonal ritual, and the journey of healing. She leads an online community called The Yoga Church, which brings people together from around the world for deep study and practice.
