Most yoga trainings teach you how to do a pose. Very few teach you what to do when it causes pain.
This 4-week intensive with Robin Rothenberg, C-IAYT meets you wherever you are. Whether you're here to care for and rehabilitate your own body, or to gain the foundational knowledge to confidently support others in pain, you'll leave with tools that are practical, proven, and that you can come to as needed when pain arises.

This course is designed for anyone who wants to move better and hurt less — no prior experience required.
Yoga teachers who want practical, therapeutically grounded tools to help injured or pain-affected students, and who are ready to address their own bodies in the process
Yoga practitioners who have been navigating chronic pain and want a smarter, more informed approach to their practice
Beginners and curious movers who are drawn to yoga but have held back because of pain, injury, or uncertainty about where to start

This 4-week intensive with Robin Rothenberg, C-IAYT gives you both. Practical tools to rehabilitate your own body, and the foundational knowledge to confidently support injured students. CCY's Starr Sanborn, C-IAYT will provide hands-on support throughout.
What You'll Learn
Using a proven stepped approach, we'll systematically address the body's most injury-prone regions:
Lower Body (May 7 & 14) — Low back, sacrum, pelvis, and hips
Upper Body (May 21 & 28) — Shoulder girdle and neck
Week 1 of each module resets functional movement and breath-linked range of motion. Week 2 builds joint stabilization and core strength — reducing the risk of over-stretching and giving you tools you can return to whenever flares arise.

Pricing
Lower Body only (May 7 & 14): $70
Upper Body only (May 21 & 28): $70
Full Series: $120 (Robin strongly recommends the full series — lower body stability is the foundation for upper body strength and ease of movement.)
What You'll Need
Leekey resistance bands (1 set, red–purple)
Modifications provided throughout. Participants with chronic pain will complete a brief intake form and may be asked to connect with Robin to confirm the course is appropriate for you.
