Our IAYT Accredited Therapist Training

Part Two: Applications of Yoga Therapy

Winter 2026 - Spring 2028

Once you’ve successfully completed Foundations of Yoga therapy, you’ll be ready to embark on Part 2 of the program: Applications of Yoga Therapy. As the title suggests, this is the portion of the program that encompasses your practicum and provides you the supervision and skill-set to work directly with clients. In Applications we explore musculoskeletal, psycho-emotional and physiologic conditions that we may encounter in our work. Each member of our faculty brings extensive knowledge in areas of traditional and complementary medicine and are either C-IAYTs or experts in Ayurveda. Their combined depth of understanding of anatomy, physiology, psychology, and ayurveda in relationship to yoga therapy make this a scientifically-based professional training, with strong academic rigor. The EYT training empowers yoga teachers to become skilled and confident in the intricacies of yoga therapy on the physical, psycho-spiritual, and physiologic levels, utilizing the best of yoga, Ayurveda, and Western body/mind science.

The live webinar format maintains the juicy combination of lecture, discussion, practice, and experiential processes in small groups that has made the EYT sangha feel enriching and collaborative. Unfolding our dense curriculum in monthly segments provides a more integrative learning format and ensures we have additional time for practice and skill development. As always, we will maintain the high-touch faculty supervision for practicum that is an unparalleled aspect of our training program. Every hour of our program will be recorded for students to review and to ensure no one misses out, even if they are occasionally unable to attend.

Audit Option: EXCITING NEW OPPORTUNITY FOR C-IAYTs!

EYT now offers the entire Applications portion of the program as an audit option to those who have been grandfathered into IAYT and are Certified Yoga Therapists. Auditing the course will provide you with access to our exemplary faculty and unique orientation to yoga therapy.  As an auditor, you will become a part of our sangha and have full access to live and recorded lectures, group discussions and practices, as well as lecture notes, hand-outs, and reading lists. There are two audit options:

1) The Full Course in its entirety:  $5,000

2) The Quarterly option to focus on a particular area for which you are seeking to deepen your education (i.e. Physiologic Systems and Ayurvedic Approach to Health). Quarterly auditors will have access only to the material from the quarter they have registered for: $2000 per quarter

Students who audit will not be required to do the homework assignments, nor will they have access to the mentors for client supervision as a part of the audit fee. However, they may hire the EYT mentors at an hourly rate for supervision support as faculty are available.

Applicants must submit their IAYT Certification along with an Audit Application and Enrollment form in order to be accepted. Please also pay an audit deposit of $250 at button below to reserve your space. This deposit will be applied to your tuition costs. Deposits are 100% refundable up to 30 days prior to start of workshop or training.
